Pricing Guide

All icons are hand painted in the traditional Orthodox manner on professionally crafted, hand made icon panels sourced from  the United States, Serbia, Romania, Russia, or Ukraine. I  also use genuine mineral pigments and 23k gold leaf. Each icon is individually executed by hand and priced according to its size, complexity, prototype selection, inscriptions, gilding requirements, and any requested customizations.

Panel icon commissions begin at approximately:

• 4” × 6” — Starting at $350
• 6” × 8” — Starting at $550
• 8” × 10” — Starting at $750
• 11” × 14” — Starting at $1,200

Additional sizes are available, including numerous intermediate dimensions between those listed above. Most commissions can be accommodated within a size range appropriate to the intended use and budget a available however some designs are not able to be reduced down to fit on smaller panels.

Simple Icons-
Portrait icons, bust-length saints, half-length saints, Christ, the Theotokos, angels, and similar subjects generally range from approximately $350–3,250 depending on size and complexity.

Moderate Complexity-
Feast icons, narrative scenes, and compositions containing multiple figures generally range from approximately $850–4,250 depending on size, subject matter, and level of detail.

High Complexity-
Large multi-figure compositions, highly detailed narrative scenes, The Ladder of Divine Ascent, Last Judgment compositions, and similar subjects generally range from approximately $1,300–5,000+ depending on size and complexity.
